Int'l Symposium: DAM SAFETY, ENGINEERING DESIGN & CONSTRUCTION Seguridad de Presas, Diseño de Ingeniería y Construcción - 19-20 February 2026
In a joint effort by the College of Engineers of Peru - CIP Lima and the Peruvian Committee on Large Dams (COPEGP), with the support of the International Committee on Large Dams (ICOLD), https://www.icold-cigb.org/, with special thanks to the president of COPEGP, engineer Miguel Suazo Guiovanini, and the current president of the International Committee on Large Dams (ICOLD), engineer Devendra Kumar Sharma, and with the invaluable support of fellow engineers Cesar Zevallos García, Rafael Antonio López Aranzaes, Gregorio Villacorta Alegría, Dean Edwin Chavarri Carahuatay, and Vice Dean of CIP Elias Tapia Julca, we are now able to launch the 1st International Symposium on Large Dams – Dam Safety, Engineering, Design & Construction – Dam Safety, Engineering Design and Construction, in Peru, to be held IN PERSON on Thursday 19 and Friday 20 February 2026, in the main auditorium of the College of Engineers of Peru - CIP Lima.
