The symposium theme, Water, Energy, and Society: The Evolving Role of Dams in a Changing World, addresses the most pressing challenges of our time:

This theme reflects the critical intersection of water resources, energy production, and societal needs in the context of global challenges such as climate change, urbanization, and sustainability. It emphasizes how dams and related infrastructure must adapt and innovate to remain relevant and safe in a rapidly changing world.

 

As every year, this week will also feature meetings of the Technical Committees and their workshops, meetings of the various regional clubs, the young professionals club, the French-speaking club, etc.
