DamsWeek2023 - 27 to 31 August 2023

The Brazilian Committee on Dams - CBDB is pleased to inform the DAMSWEEK 2023, which comprises the events XXXIV National Seminar on Large Dams - SNGB, II International Symposium on Rockfill Dams - SIBE, in partnership with the Chinese (CHINCOLD) and Spanish (SPANCOLD) committees and the IV Technical Meeting on Incidents and Accidents on Dams - ETIAB.

DAMSWEEK will be held from August 27 to 31, 2023, at the Hotel Grand Carimã Resort & Convention Center, in Foz do Iguaçu - PR.

The DAMSWEEK 2023 program will include, for the first time in Brazil, the ICOLD YEF, Young Engineers Forum, for young engineers in the dam area, the INCA - ICOLD National Committees of the Americas Meeting, the Portuguese Language Dams Committees Meeting, the Round Table on Bottom Dischargers and the CBDB/ABRAGE Workshop - Flood Management, Climate Change and Dam Safety.

In parallel to the event, we highlight the Technical Exhibition where companies providing services, suppliers of products and services related to projects, construction and operation of dams, designers, builders, assemblers of electromechanical equipment, entrepreneurs, consultants and research centers will be able to present themselves, creating the opportunity for prospecting new business.

For this edition we estimate an audience of 800 participants formed by professionals and companies linked to the energy sector interested in the exchange of information, dissemination of new technologies related to dam engineering and, especially committed to the national engineering.
